The SMC water tank is fabricated using SMC sheets produced from food-grade resin, which undergoes high-temperature and high-pressure mechanical pressing during production. In the manufacturing process, a machine-press molding technique is employed to enhance seismic and impact resistance, address the issue of uneven strength in hand-laid products, and improve compressive strength and service life.
In terms of design, the middle section of the panel features a concave shape, which significantly enhances the pressure-bearing capacity of the water tank. Additionally, the panels are equipped with 45° and 90° flanges around their edges, eliminating the need for corner connectors during assembly. This design offers greater flexibility and adaptability in installation.
The SMC modular FRP water tank is constructed on-site using SMC molded plates, sealing materials, metallic structural components, and piping systems. This assembly method offers significant advantages in terms of design flexibility and construction convenience. Standardized water tanks are designed according to established specifications, while customized water tanks require specialized design solutions.
A specially developed final product sealing belt ensures non-toxicity, water resistance, high elasticity, minimal permanent deformation, and airtight sealing performance. The water tank exhibits superior overall strength, with no leakage or deformation, and is designed for ease of maintenance and repair.
